Appeals

Our policies and procedures are formulated by the Foundation School Committee which has representation from the trusts, medical school, Peninsula Postgraduate Medical Education, students and trainees. We aim to ensure that all trainees are treated fairly throughout their training with us.

A trainee will have the right to lodge an appeal wherever he or she is able to demonstrate that the actions of the Foundation School have not followed procedure. This could be (but is not exclusively) in the case of:

  • Assessment and sign off
  • Recruitment and selection
  • Inter Foundation School Transfer
  • Special Circumstances applications
  • Time out of Foundation Programme requests

Please access the Peninsula Foundation School Appeals Policy below.
