Shadowing and Induction
A mandatory one week (paid) shadowing and induction period prior to the commencement of F1 in August 2026 will commence on
Tuesday 28th July 2026
PLEASE DO NOT BOOK ANY HOLIDAYS OR LIFE EVENTS DURING THIS WEEK - this is a vital step in your transition from Medical Student to F1 doctor
Each Foundation Doctor will receive an Induction Presentation from the foundation school prior to commencing in post in August 2026. The presentation is designed to introduce our Residents to the Foundation School and in particular who we are, what we are responsible for, what we can help you with and what we require from you. It includes some useful Q and As on several processes of which you should be aware. An updated version will be produced in due course.
