'Introduction to Radiology' Open Day

This exciting event aims to provide an insight into a career in Radiology and give helpful tips for the competitive application and interview process. The event is aimed at Junior Doctors and all medical students who may wish to consider a career in Radiology.
Over the course of the event, sessions will comprise of talks highlighting how far Radiology has come, what it’s like to be a Radiologist, training, the application process and what the future holds. We will also be holding a series of workshops where you will get hands on experience at ultrasound in a simulated clinical environment, as well as Interventional Radiology simulation. In addition, there are sessions focused on image interpretation and a dedicated Q&A session to give you hints and tips that may help you land your dream job as a Radiologist.
The cost of all of this is just £40, which includes lunch and refreshments. There are only 45 places and these will be allocated on a first come first served basis. The closing date for all applications is Friday 9th November (late applications may be considered, depending on available spaces).
